Well it's about time! I've dilly dallied long enough. This is my new 1300 sqft. studio on the 5th floor of the Secor Building downtown Toledo. The minute i saw it I knew I had to have it. The light from the North side windows is amazing! The views aren't to bad either. The new Hockey arena is on one side of the building, the Mud Hens stadium is on the other ( I can even catch the game if I lean out the window) and the old Commodore Perry Hotel is across the street. The studio will also come in handy this summer when we begin working on the "Re-surgence" sculpture at the new arena. This year will be a "test" for me to see how this "art thing" goes. I want to get involved in the art scene here in Toledo and see if I have what it takes. I think it's going to be a great year! It'll be nice to actually have a space to work. My plan is to section the space off into two or three areas. One area will be for displaying, storing and photographing work, another for drawing, painting, lounging, etc. and a large space for 3-D work (wood, wax, plaster, etc.) I can't wait to start moving in!
