Trip to Owens Sound, Ontario Canada

Bruce, my boss at the Toledo Zoo, and I recently returned from a five day trip to Owen Sound, Ontario Canada.   We delivered and set up our Dragon's Exhibit at the Grey Roots Museum and Archive located in Owen Sound (North of Toronto) on the Georgian Bay of Lake Huron at the base of the Bruce Peninsula.   On the drive up, in our bright yellow 26 foot Penske truck, we traveled Rt. 21, also known as the Kings Highway, along the coast of Lake Huron all the way to Owen Sound.   The weather was beautiful and the views weren't too bad either!  We were amazed at the number of huge windmills we saw, in some areas there were literally hundreds of them for as far as the eye could see, they were like windmill farms!
Our hotel was right on Georgian Bay so I was able to get some great morning and sunset shots of the bay.   I would love to go up there on my own some day and visit more of the Bruce Peninsula but until then these pictures will have to do.  Enjoy!
